This exam is designed for individuals working in the healthcare sector or planning a career in nursing or caregiving in a German-speaking country. It is particularly beneficial for healthcare professionals who want to certify their job-related German language skills at levels B1 and B2 – whether for employment in hospitals, nursing homes, or outpatient care services.
As a dual-level exam, the telc Deutsch B1·B2 Pflege test assesses language proficiency at both B1 and B2 levels. This is ideal for those who are still developing their skills between these levels.
The exam consists of a written and an oral section. The written part includes tasks on reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and listening comprehension. Additionally, candidates must complete a writing task. The total duration of the written exam is 2.5 hours.
At speakeasy Berlin, the oral exam takes place on the same day. Before the oral exam begins, candidates have 20 minutes of preparation time to review the tasks and take notes.
Please note that the telc Deutsch B1·B2 Pflege exam must be taken as a whole. If one section is not passed, the entire exam must be retaken.
