The University Pathway Program helps you study in Germany by splitting your university preparation into two simplified stages – one in your home country and one in Germany. During the two phases we will help you realize your dream to study in Germany by assisting with the important aspects shown below:
Initial Consultation

German Language Courses
- Super-Intensive German courses with 18 teaching hours per week until B2/C1 level
- A combination of grammatic and conversation classes that focus on all aspects of German including speaking, reading, writing, and listening

- Official language exam at the end of your language courses
- One exam rewrite
- Language exam preparation course to be fully prepared on exam day

All you need to qualify for the University Pathway Program is a high school diploma. More specifically:
- If you want to study in Germany in a bachelor’s program,
then you require a high school diploma. - If you want to study in Germany in a master’s program,
then you require a bachelor’s degree.
Depending on your previous education, there are two possible pathways to gain admission to a German university so that you can study in Germany:
Direct Route
If: Your previous education is equivalent to the German Abitur (the German high school diploma).
Then: You can begin studying at university immediatly.
Indirect Route
If: Your previous education is not equivalent to the German Abitur (the German high school diploma).
Then: You will first need to upgrade your education by doing a foundation year at a preparatory college called a Studienkolleg.
How do you know if you need to take the Direct Route or the Indirect Route?
When we examine your documents during the 100% free Initial Consultation, we will let you know which Route you need to take. Depending on your current German language level, and if you need the Direct or the Indirect pathway to study in Germany, you will follow the rough timeline below during the University Pathway Program:
