Update on your German Courses and Exams
The “basic protection ordinance” (Basisschutzregelung) is currently in place in Berlin. As of the 1st of April, the following rules apply in the premises of speakeasy Berlin:
Language courses:
- You do not have to socially distance.
- You do not need to provide proof of testing or vaccination.
- You need to wear a mask to wear while in the school. The mask you can take off when seated in the classroom.
Telc examinations:
- You do not need to provide proof of testing or vaccination.
- A minimum distance of 1.5 m will remain in place during the examination according to examination regulations.
- You can make your own decision on wearing a mask and which kind of mask is also down to you.
Courses with physical attendance
Your lessons will take place exclusively in our classrooms at speakeasy Berlin.
Please wear a mask when you move around the premises of the school. You can take off
your mask as soon as you are seated in a fixed place.
The maximum number of
participants in the courses with physical attendance is 14 (depending on the
classroom).
The following measures continue to be implemented in the school:
- A
special
anti-bacterial film has been applied to all door handles in the school.
It
protects contact surfaces from bacteria and viruses such as Covid-19 or the flu
with 99.98% effectiveness.
- Every classroom has an air filter. According to the studies, air filters can
help reduce aerosol levels by up to 90%. The air filters are a supplement to
regular and thorough ventilation.
- To keep the school warm despite the ventilation in colder weather, we have
installed additional heating options.
